Dean A. Burkhardt, Chairman of the Board Mr. Burkhardt has served as a director since October 2001. Mr. Burkhardt serves as Chairman of Pioneer's Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and is a member of the Audit Committee and Compensation Committee. Mr. Burkhardt has 30 years experience in the energy service field. He co-founded and operated Cheyenne Service, Inc. Applied Petroleum Software, Inc. and was President and CEO of Tescorp Energy Services. Mr. Burkhardt is an investor and consultant in the energy service business. C. Robert Bunch Mr. Bunch has served as a director since May 2004. Mr. Bunch is a member of Pioneer's Audit Committee, Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and Chairman of Pioneer’s Compensation Committee. Previously, Mr. Bunch served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Maverick Tube Corporation and was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Input/Output Inc. Mr. Bunch was also an associate and partner with the law firms King & Pennington, LLP. and Scott, Douglass & McConnico, LLP. Mr. Bunch has been active in the oil service business since 1981. Michael F. Harness Mr. Harness has served as a director since May 2004. Mr. Harness is a member of Pioneer's Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and Compensation Committee. Mr. Harness is President and Chief Executive Officer of Osyka Corporation, an independent oil and gas company that he founded in 1990. Mr. Harness also spent eight years in senior level engineering and management positions with Texas Eastern Corporation and served in various engineering positions at Amoco Production Company for five years. Wm. Stacy Locke Mr. Locke has served as an officer and director since May 1995. He has been President and Chief Executive Officer since December 2003. He previously served as President and Chief Financial Officer from August 2000 to December 2003, as President and Chief Operating Officer from November 1998 to August 2000 and as President and Chief Executive Officer from May 1995 to November 1998. Prior to joining Pioneer, Mr. Locke was in investment banking with Arneson, Kercheville, Ehrenberg & Associates from 1993 to 1995 and Chemical Banking Corporation from 1988 to 1992. C. John Thompson Mr. Thompson has served as a director since May 2001. Mr. Thompson serves as a member of the Audit Committee and Compensation Committee. Mr. Thompson currently serves as a Principal of Vector Energy Capital, L.L.C., a company he co-founded in 2005 to provide capital advisory services to upstream oil and gas producers. Mr. Thompson also serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ventana Capital Advisors, Inc., a capital advisory company he founded in June 2004. Mr. Thompson was a Vice President of Constellation Energy and a consultant to the oil and gas industry. Mr. Thompson was Vice President and Co-Manager of Enron Energy Capital Resources from February 2000 to December 2001. |
