Since 1968, Pioneer Drilling Company has provided land contract drilling services to independent and major oil and gas exploration and production companies. Our rigs are located in the prolific natural gas producing regions of North, South and East Texas, Oklahoma and the Rocky Mountains.

Our rig fleet consists of 66 land drilling rigs with depth ranges of 6,000 - 18,000 feet. Many of our rigs are designed to be fast moving and quick rig up. In addition, 25 of our rigs are premium class electric rigs. Currently, we have 20 rigs in our East Texas division, 17 rigs in our South Texas division, 13 rigs in our Rocky Mountains divisions, 10 rigs in our North Texas division and 6 rigs in our Oklahoma division.
